Hiya Sweetheart!
If only... But no, it didn't work out that way. Meanwhile, that chiropractic session must have done me a world of good, because I slept for a solid nine hours last night! Happy to sleep in late, though, since the temps were in the 30's this morning. Sure hope this is the last gasp of winter! Woke up to the sound of Flash doing some self-exercising, thundering around the pasture! Love that sound! Spent some time working on bookkeeping, getting everything ready to do my taxes. I also communicated with American Airlines about scheduling. While they've taking Saturday, Mar. 28 off their schedule, they're taking reservations for Sunday, March 29, and I wanted to be sure if they actually flew on Sunday, I'd have a seat. It would get me in on Tuesday, but at least I'd have one night to recover. Probably better than arriving on Saturday and spending four nights there, but we'll see. They're not making any promises, other than to do their best when and if the time comes. Iran sent some missiles into Qatar today, so that's likely to keep the airspace closed even longer. Or else it's a last gasp, we'll see. Anyway, Lola and I took our walk in the late afternoon again, after it had finally warmed up nicely, and my evening included a nice hot tub and a couple of glasses of wine again. Shower done, off to bed soon! Love you, darlin'! Happy Birthday!
