Had a good night sleep, stayed in bed late, then had my plans for the day, which was to have an old friend visit, completely changed, when he woke up with a fever. I decided that I was getting a bit low on horse feed, so I decided to take a trip into town to pick some up. I ordered it online from Tractor Supply and drove all the way down there, only to discover that all three bags of horse feed I had ordered were "unavailable." Turns out two were too moldy, and the third was a choice between a half bag that had been retaped and a full bag that had bugs crawling out of it! All I managed to pick up was a container of Glucosamine. Grrrr! Made a quick stop at Walmart for fuel and a few other items, none of which was critical except for eggs, but it was a long way to go for so little in the end. Oh, well! At least I got my first delivery today, a new special dog water bowl that is supposed to prevent Lola from dripping water all across the floor like she always does, but I haven't seen her drink from it yet, so I still don't know if it actually works. Settled down for the afternoon and evening, not feeling like a very productive, but since I needed a day off anyway, I'll chalk it up to one of those. Heading to bed soon. Good night, baby! Love you!
