Hiya Sweetie,
Had a great night sleep after getting to bed early, slept almost straight through to my 7:25 alarm! Finished packing up and was on the road before 9:30, had an uneventful drive and arrived at Hardee Lakes just after 12:30. I was surprised that the office was closed for lunch until 1:00, but since I knew what site I was in, and I wanted to go to the RV dump before I parked anyway, I drove in, emptied my tanks, and managed to park with no problem. My decision to use Site 2 was a good one, as it had a couple of trees perfect for a highline and even space on the side for a fence if I had decided to do that. My only concern is that there is another site directly behind me, which, if occupied, would be a bit crowded, but there's no one in it at the moment. The only other possibility might have been Site 9, which is on it's own, and closer to the fence than the road, but someone was in it. Doesn't matter, this works, just want to remember that if I come back here. Not a lot of trails here, but I have water and 30 amp electric, so the first thing I did was to get caught up on the many loads of laundry that have been piling up! I also worked up a grounds map for the Taste of Goethe, and am thrilled that I have a good cell signal here, and will be able to get a lot done a lot more quickly with a good signal. Not to mention watching TV was so much easier! It's been awhile since I had such a fast signal, very glad about that. After getting settled and unhooking, I drove back to the gate and finished paying for my site, then got on with my day. Looking forward to checking out the trails tomorrow. Good night, babe! Love you!
