An excellent night sleep, and it didn't hurt that I put in some earplugs because I knew there would be a lot of early morning activity, considering the first riders had to leave camp at 6:00. Was up and finishing my chores in time to get to breakfast by about 7:30, then reported for duty to Nancy by 8:00. Got inducted to one of the timer jobs, and off we went for a very busy morning. By afternoon it was running fairly smoothly, but then Nancy left to run an errand at just the wrong moment, and I was overwhelmed by riders, most of whom were finishing, and I hadn't had any training in that! But we managed to struggle through. At 2:00 I resumed my registration and check-in duties, which was much less stressful and more evenly paced, finished that mostly off by 4:30. Kept busy with some other stuff right through the ride meeting, headed back to my camper a bit after 8:00, helped my neighbor explore some stuff about her new camper she wasn't sure how to manage, and finally got done with my usual routine just before 10:00.
