Hiya Darlin',
A good night sleep, once again up in time for breakfast at 7:30 and the start of my work day at 8:00. Spent almost all of the day in the timers tent, desperately trying to make sense of the system being used, and I don't feel like I'm much the wiser after a day of it. Instruction has been limited, mostly due to the constant interruptions of trying to do the job, and flitting from one thing to another with no apparent connection, though I'm sure there is one. I'll be glad to get back to the simpler job of trail unmarking tomorrow, though it will be in a UTV rather than on horseback. I'll just be glad to be moving, rather than sitting in one place! I'd say overall it went pretty well, especially considering it was a combined AERC/FEI ride, which always carries it's own challenges. Anyway, finished up right after dinner and the awards program, back to the trailer a bit after 7:00, took Lola for a walk, and am settling down to a quiet evening, having eaten too much at dinner, again. I'll start my diet again on Monday! Hard to say no to all this good food, especially when I don't have to do the cooking or dishes myself! Looking forward to heading south, even though it's going to be freezing in north Florida when I get there! Good night, babe! Love you!
